Description
The Sauvignon of the La Tunella company comes from vineyards located in the famous DOC Friuli Colli Orientali.
It is produced exclusively with Sauvignon grapes, harvested in the first week of September. Fermentation takes place at a controlled temperature of 16 ° C for about 30-40 days. Subsequently the wine ages in steel tanks with frequent batonnage.
This Sauvignon is characterized by a lively and bright straw yellow color, with evident greenish reflections. The nose opens with intense varietal aromas, among which hints of sage and tomato leaves stand out, which accompany more delicate notes of melon and yellow pepper. On the palate it is fresh and dry, intense and enveloping, with a persistent finish.
This wine is perfect to accompany aperitifs and appetizers. Ideal in combination with lobster, scampi and salmon, it is also excellent with soups and risotto flavored with herbs.
