Friuli Grave DOC Pinot Grigio 2017 Villa Chiopris

The Pinot Grigio of Villa Chiopris is born in the vineyards located between the municipality of Chiopris-Viscone and that of San Giovanni al Natisone, in Friuli.

This wine is entirely made with Pinot Grigio grapes, through a mechanized harvest. After pressing with cold maceration and cleaning the must by decanting, the fermentation process in steel barrels starts at a controlled temperature of 15 ° C. After the fermentation phase, the wine rests for about 4 months in the same containers, then it is bottled and left to refine in glass, before distribution.

The Pinot Grigio of Villa Chiopris has a straw yellow color. The nose shows a subtle finesse, with floral notes among which a delicate linden flower stands out. The taste is fresh and well balanced, with a rather persistent finish.

It goes very well with medium-structured first courses, white meats and poultry.
