Description

What kind of wine it is

Gavi di Canti is a still white wine made from Cortese grapes grown on the hills of southern Piedmont. It shows a fresh and mineral profile and a slender structure, ideal for those who seek elegance and easy drinking. Fermentation in stainless steel at controlled temperature preserves the primary aromas and gives a clean and linear sip.

Where it comes from

The Cortese grapes come from the Gavi area, at the foot of the Ligurian-Piedmontese Apennines. This territory provides excellent conditions that enhance minerality and elegance.

How it is made

After careful selection, the grapes are processed to preserve freshness and varietal aromas. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures, with no use of wood, keeping the aromatic profile clear.

Tasting notes

Gavi di Canti shows a pale golden yellow color with greenish highlights. On the nose, it reveals green apple, citrus zest, spring flowers, and yellow-fleshed fruit. On the palate, it is fresh, savory, and harmonious, with balanced acidity and a mineral finish. Its light structure and good persistence complete the profile.

What to pair it with

This wine pairs well with fish dishes, such as plaice with capers, thanks to its freshness and savoriness. It is also ideal with delicate white meats, for example, roast chicken or baked turkey.

When to serve it

It is recommended to serve Gavi di Canti chilled to highlight its liveliness and freshness. Proper serving allows you to fully appreciate its aromatic and mineral qualities.
