Description
The Gavi produced by Canti is a still white wine made from Cortese grapes, grown in the southern hills of Piedmont, in an area renowned for elegance and minerality. The Gavi designation ensures high-quality standards and represents one of the most appreciated Italian whites for freshness and finesse.
Vinification focuses on preserving the varietal fragrance of the Cortese grape, through stainless steel fermentation at controlled temperatures that keep the primary aromas intact. The aging process takes place in stainless steel tanks to enhance the mineral component and the refreshing taste.
In appearance, it displays a light golden yellow color with greenish reflections. On the nose, it offers aromas of green apple, citrus peel, and spring flowers. The palate is fresh, savory and mineral, with notes of yellow-fleshed fruit and lemon peel, supported by well-balanced acidity.
Perfect when paired with white meats, fish, and especially with fresh plaice and capers.
