Description

The GMC by Yann Durieux is a red wine from the quiet village of Messanges, in the Hautes-Côtes de Nuits, Burgundy, a true expression of Yann Durieux's philosophy of natural winemaking. This cuvée, classified as Vin de France, is made from Gamay grapes grown biodynamically with extraordinary care and respect for the local terroir.

The grapes are vinified without the addition of sulfites or filtration, with extended maceration that enhances the aromatic richness and aging in used barrels, aimed at preserving the purity of the fruit and the identity of the soil. The minimalist and precise approach gives the wine rare expressiveness and naturalness.

It has a light garnet tone in appearance, while the nose reveals seductive aromas of black cherry, undergrowth, and delicate spices, enriched by a floral hint. The sip is velvety and vibrant, characterized by fine tannins, lively acidity, and a persistent finish that recalls dark fruits and wet stone.

Ideal for pairing with pork tenderloin or a vegetable tart.
