Description

Grancare is a Greco di Tufo Riserva from Tenuta Cavalier Pepe, made from Greco grapes grown in the hilly areas of Santa Paolina and Montefusco, in Campania, at an altitude between 650 and 730 meters above sea level. The clay-limestone soils, with volcanic elements, give the wine a strong local identity and elegance.

The grapes are hand-picked at full ripeness and carefully selected, followed by gentle pressing; fermentation takes place both in stainless steel and in French oak barriques, followed by aging on the fine lees for an extended period and further resting in the bottle to complete the wine's evolution.

It shows a straw yellow color with golden hues; the nose reveals citrus aromas accompanied by delicate spicy notes; on the palate it is full, complex and persistent, with a balanced structure and a long finish.

It pairs perfectly with shellfish dishes, seafood, and preparations with intense aromatic profiles.
