Description
The Falanghina Fontana della Loggia is produced by Vinosìa Luciano Ercolino, a company based in Paternopoli, in the heart of Irpinia. The grapes come from vineyards located in the Fontanarossa area.
It consists of 100% Falanghina grapes, harvested in early October. The grapes are softly pressed and remain in contact with the skins for approx. 12 hours at controlled temperature. The must is statically cold clarified and the fermentation is carried out with the addition of selected yeasts. Finally the wine ages in steel on the fine lees for 2 months.
Golden yellow in color, citrus aromas of lime and grapefruit prevail on the nose, as well as hints of jasmine. The sip is fresh and fine, with a mineral finish.
Ideal in combination with raw seafood and delicate first courses with shellfish.
