Description
The Isola dei Nuraghi Perdixi wine from the Olianas winery is born in vineyards located in the territory of Gergei, on the border of the province of Cagliari with Nuoro, in the heart of Sardinia.
It is produced with grapes typical of the area, rigorously harvested by hand in different periods according to the variety. Once destemmed and crushed, the grapes are placed in stainless steel vats at a controlled temperature of 25-26 ° C and are brought to 4 ° C before alcoholic fermentation and maceration, which last for 16-20 days. The wine then undergoes the malolactic fermentation process at a temperature of 20 ° C and is subsequently placed in first-pass French oak barriques, where it ages for 12 months.
Perdixi is a warm wine with an important structure. The bouquet is rich and fruity, with evident notes of red fruits and aromatic nuances.
Perfect to accompany red meats and game, it is ideal in combination with aged cheeses.
