Description

Haku Vodka is a handcrafted Japanese vodka produced by the House of Suntory, made exclusively with 100% Japanese white rice. The name "Haku" means "white" and "brilliance," reflecting the purity and radiance of the spirit. This vodka embodies the art and dedication of Japanese craftsmanship, offering a unique and refined tasting experience.

The production process begins in Kagoshima, where the rice is fermented with "kome koji" to create a mash, which is then distilled to obtain rice spirit. This spirit is then distilled a second time through two different processes to develop aroma and body before being blended and filtered in Osaka. The filtration is done using bamboo charcoal, a traditional technique that gives the vodka extraordinary smoothness and cleanliness, eliminating impurities while preserving the delicate flavors of the rice.

On the nose, Haku Vodka presents a soft aroma, highlighted by sweet and delicate floral notes. On the palate, it offers a rich taste that gradually envelops the mouth with the natural sweetness and complex flavor of rice, culminating in a soft finish with a sophisticated and pleasantly lingering sweetness, thanks to the bamboo charcoal filtration process.

Ideal to be enjoyed neat or as a base for refined cocktails, Haku Vodka is perfect for preparing drinks like the Haku Martini, enhancing the purity and delicacy of its ingredients.
