Kremstal DAC Riesling Undhof Kögl 2015 Salomon

Salomon's Riesling Undhof Kögl comes from the Austrian Kremstal region, near the Wachau border.

It comes from vineyards organized according to terraces and facing south. The soils of these vineyards are embellished with a very fine mineral tract, due to the abundant supply of shale rocks. The influence of the Danube goes to act on the local microclimate, characterized by its nature by low rainfall and a strong temperature range between day and night. This leads to obtaining grapes in excellent health and with a nice aromatic set, at the time of the harvest. It vinifies inside only steel containers so as to preserve its varietal and territorial expressiveness intact.

Straw yellow to the eye, with bright greenish reflections. The nose recalls notes of white pasca, mandarin and sweet traces of honey. In the mouth it is enriched with a slightly aromatic herb imprint, inserted in a fine balance of components and in a citrus finish.

Ideal to accompany a cream of artichokes.
