Description
Paltrinieri's Lambrusco di Sorbara Piria comes from vineyards located in the "zone of Christ" of Sorbara, in the heart of the Lambrusco DOC.
It is produced with Lambrusco di Sorbara grapes and Lambrusco Salamino grapes, harvested and selected entirely by hand. After a 3-day maceration in contact with the skins and alcoholic fermentation, it follows refermentation in thermo-conditioned stainless steel tanks. The second fermentation takes place in steel autoclaves, according to the Charmat method.
Piria di Paltrinieri is characterized by a ruby red color and a fine and persistent perlage. The nose opens with intense aromas of violet and berries. On the palate it is dry and slightly fruity, with a rather long and persistent finish.
Excellent as an aperitif and with fish, this wine is ideal in combination with local cold cuts and traditional first courses of Emilian cuisine.
