One of the legendary wines created by Angelo Gaja. The label was born from the desire to produce a great white, elegant and long-lived, in the style of the famous Burgundy. This explains the unusual choice of planting a Chardonnay vineyard in the land of Nebbiolo.
At the end of the soft pressing, the free-run must ferments directly in French oak barrels, where it matures for another 12 months, before the final 6 months of bottle aging.
It has a beautiful golden yellow color and an intense and fine bouquet, which smells of citrus peel, fragrant aromas of yellow fruit, floral and vanilla nuances. The sip is rich and soft, with a deep extension towards a savory and extraordinarily fresh finish.
To be combined with white truffle taglierini or with porcini mushroom risotto.
