Description
The Nascetta Amphorae "Cecilia" by Cascina Corte is a white wine made from Nascetta grapes grown on limestone and blue tuff soils. The vines, about 8 years old, are trained in Guyot and hand-harvested in September.
Natural fermentation takes place in terracotta amphoras without the addition of yeasts, with manual pump-overs. The wine then ages for 11 months in amphora and an additional 2 months in bottle, without filtration or clarification, thus preserving the expressive purity of the grape variety.
In appearance, it presents a white color tending towards pale yellow. On the nose, it offers fruity aromas accompanied by notes of Mediterranean scrub. On the palate, it is straightforward and characterized, with very delicate tannins that provide sweetness and roundness. The finish is long and persistent, leaving a sensation of fullness and harmony.
It pairs perfectly with white meats, fish dishes, and cheeses, enhancing the delicacy and complexity of the flavors.
