Description
Produced by the winery Tenuta San Leo, Drusilla Rosato is a rosé wine made from Montepulciano and Aleatico grapes sourced from the vineyards of Castelli Romani. The altitude of 310 meters and the medium-textured soils offer an ideal microclimate to express freshness and aromaticity in rosé wines.
The winemaking process involves a short cold maceration on the skins for 2-3 hours at 5°C, followed by alcoholic fermentation in steel at 15-16°C. Malolactic fermentation is not carried out. The wine matures exclusively in the bottle to preserve its aromatic integrity.
The color is bright pink. On the nose, there are intense aromas of white flowers and fresh fruit. The palate is soft, delicate, and persistent, with a balanced structure and a harmonious finish.
Perfect with first and second courses, white meats, and fish brodetto.
