Vallée D'Aoste Pinot Gris DOC 2020 Lo Triolet

The Pinot Gris of Lo Triolet is a pure Pinot Grigio, produced by this small company of the Martin family, who lives in Introd, a small village in the Aosta Valley of only 600 inhabitants. The company was founded in 1993 and currently manages 7 hectares of high-altitude vineyards, between 600 and 850 meters above sea level

The grape harvest takes place in mid-September, after which the must ferments in steel vats at a controlled temperature, with a short maceration of the skins. Refinement always takes place in steel for 8 months.

In the glass the wine appears straw yellow in color. On the nose there are fruity hints of pear and peach, but also of mountain herbs. The sip is fresh, soft and quite savory, with a good persistence.

Ideal as an aperitif and to accompany appetizers, it goes particularly well with white meat main courses and aged cheeses.
