Description
Joseph Mellot's Pouilly-Fumé Le Troncsec was born in vineyards located in the heart of the Loire.
It is produced exclusively with Sauvignon Blanc grapes, harvested and selected only by hand. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks, at controlled temperature. In the same containers, this Pouilly-Fumé is then left to refine for a few months, before being bottled.
Le Troncsec by Joseph Mellot has a straw yellow color. The nose opens with delicate hints of white and mineral flowers. On the palate it is fresh and aromatic, characterized by a great finesse and balance.
This wine is incredibly appropriate in combination with fish and coquillage dishes.
