Lugana DOC Brut Metodo Classico Cà Maiol

Lugana Brut Metodo Classico by Cà Maiol comes from Trebbiano di Lugana grapes in the municipality of Desenzano del Garda, not far from the shores of the lake.

The grapes of Trebbiano di Lugana in purity are harvested slightly in advance, and after the vinification in white, the second fermentation takes place in bottle, according to the Classic Method, with ageing of 36 months on its own lees.

The pale straw yellow colour and the fine and persistent perlage announce a clean and sweet bouquet, with hints of Williams pear, marjoram and yeast and slight balsamic nuances. On the palate it is fresh and soft, with delicate fruity hints.

Excellent throughout the meal, it is ideal in combination with smoked raw fish, such as salmon, and with fresh cheeses with a strong flavour.
