Description
Lugana Folàr di Santi comes to life inside the morainic amphitheater south of Lake Garda, characterized by a clayey-limestone soil and particularly rich in mineral salts.
It is produced with pure Trebbiano di Lugana grapes, harvested when perfectly ripe during the first ten days of October. After a soft pressing of the bunches, the must is subjected to a cold maceration protected by oxygen, then it ferments slowly with selected yeasts. It follows aging in steel on fine lees until the day of bottling.
It appears intense and bright straw yellow in color. The nose ranges between elegant citrus and floral hints. In the mouth it shows a dry, full, mineral and harmonious wine, with a persistent finish on notes of almond.
This wine goes well with risotto, soups, freshwater fish and white meats.
