Description
The Lugana Riserva Menasasso by Podere Selva Capuzza is a wine designed for aging, born from a careful selection of Turbiana grapes. It stands out for its distinct personality, characterized by rich minerality and a complex olfactory structure, representing an authentic expression of the territory and the grape variety.
Fermentation takes place in steel at controlled temperatures, followed by a long aging on the fine lees for at least two years, during which periodic bâtonnage is performed. After bottling, the wine further rests in the bottle for a few months, completing a process that enhances its complexity and elegance.
Visually, it shows a straw yellow color, ranging from pale to deep. The aromatic profile is broad and intense, with hints of sweet citrus peels, aromatic herbs, and an enveloping minerality. On the palate, it is warm, enveloping, and harmonious, with a significant structure and long persistence that finishes on fine and clean notes.
It is ideal with spicy dishes, lasagnettes with pesto, or curry chicken, and is also suitable to be enjoyed as a meditation wine.
