Description
Result of the fermentation of a mixture between water and honey, the mead (from the Greek ὕδωρ, hýdor "water" and μέλι, méli "honey") of the Liquor and Ancestral Wines line "Essentiae" of Lunae, is produced from millefiori honey from Lunigiana and spring water from the Apuan Alps.
The honey dissolved in water is left to ferment in steel drums until the desired alcohol content is reached.
Of an intense golden yellow color, it presents on the nose with clear notes of honey and white flowers. Sweet and enveloping on the palate, it goes perfectly with all types of cheeses, dried fruit, sweets and chocolate. Excellent as a meditation wine or as an ingredient for sophisticated cocktails.
