Description
Il Mersino was born in the Valdonica Winery vineyards, immersed in the nature of the Tuscan Maremma.
Produced exclusively with Vermentino grapes, harvested and selected by hand, this wine, after resting for 6 months in steel, is left to rise for as many months in oak barriques, where it develops its organoleptic peculiarities. The refinement in the bottle continues for at least a year.
Mersino is characterized by a straw yellow color and by still unripe aromas of white and tropical pulp fruit, with floral and mineral notes of outline. In the mouth it shows a lively freshness and excellent roundness, with a slightly sour fruit flavor and a bitter aftertaste.
Excellent with first courses with vegetables and fish, appetizers and risotto.
