Description

The Ciliegiolo Rosato from the Auspici line of Tenuta Aquilaia is a Tuscan rosé wine made from pure Ciliegiolo grapes, grown in Maremma, a land with a long-standing tradition of viticulture dating back to Etruscan times. The choice of this grape variety, rarely found in rosé form, reflects the desire to express an elegant and authentic profile of the territory, through a fresh, delicate, and highly drinkable wine.

The grapes are harvested and gently pressed, followed by flotation and immediate start of alcoholic fermentation at low temperature, around 14°C, in order to preserve the most delicate aromas. The wine is aged in stainless steel tanks for four months, maintaining its fragrance and freshness unchanged.

In the glass, it displays a pale and bright rosé color. The bouquet is fine and elegant, with floral notes and hints of red fruits. On the palate, it delivers a pleasant minerality, a slender yet balanced structure, and a fresh, fruity finish that leaves a sensation of liveliness and cleanliness.

Ideal to pair with seafood appetizers, shellfish, seafood, and white meats in light preparations.
