Description

The Sustinet wine was born in the vineyards of the Conti San Bonifacio company, in the spectacular territorial setting of the Tuscan Maremma. It is a very intriguing wine, the result of the perfect marriage between an international grape like Syrah and a special terroir.

It is made entirely from Syrah grapes, selected and harvested manually in early September. After a fermentation phase of approximately 28 days in steel and malolactic fermentation, the wine is left to evolve for eighteen months in new French oak barrels (80% of the product) and second passage (20%). A period of aging in glass of at least one year follows.

The Sustinet has a very intense Ruibino red color. The nose dominates the scene with intense fruity aromas (black and red), with elegant spicy hints. In the mouth it is full and harmonious, with a firm but smooth tannin and a convincing fruity aftertaste.

Perfect in combination with important dishes based on grilled red meats, roasts and stewed meats.
