Description

The De Uco of the DiamAndes company is produced in the Uco Valley in the Mendoza region of Argentina, exclusively from Malbec grapes. We are located at high altitudes, a characteristic of the vineyard that gives the wine a nice acidity and freshness.

The harvest is manual and the grapes are immediately brought to the cellar, selected by hand and transported to the refrigerated room. Maceration on the skins and fermentation take place in steel vats, while the wine is aged for 12 months in French oak barrels, 30% of which are new.

In the glass the wine appears of an intense ruby red color with violet nuances. On the nose the aromas recall first of all ripe dark fruit, blueberries and plums, then chocolate and black pepper, with a slight smoky note. The taste is full, full-bodied and well balanced between roundness and freshness, with silky tannins and a long persistence.

Ideal in combination with fatty and tasty meats, such as baked duck breast or grilled red meat.
