Description
The Meursault Les Tessons by Michel Bouzereau & Fils is a white wine made from Chardonnay grapes sourced from a small half-hectare plot in the commune of Meursault, Burgundy. The vines, planted between 1958 and 1989, take root in clay-limestone soils with outcropping rock and red earth, providing an ideal base for an authentic expression of the terroir.
The vinification process follows traditional methods, with a long aging period extending over 16-18 months in oak barrels, about 25% of which are new. This process allows the wine to develop complexity and depth while maintaining the elegance and balance typical of the great Meursaults.
On the nose, it stands out for its fine and intense aromas of white-fleshed fruit, citrus, delicate flowers, and light toasted and mineral notes. On the palate, it is broad and precise, with a harmonious structure, great freshness, and a long persistence expressing the purity of the terroir.
Ideal for pairing with dishes based on fish, shellfish, or white meats in refined preparations.
