Ruchè di Castagnole MonferratoGenesi delle Cantine Sant'Agata is born in vineyards located in Scurzolengo, in the province of Asti, in the heart of the extraordinary Piedmontese wine panorama. Cantine Sant'Agata wines are the perfect expression of the native vines of Piedmont.

It is produced with Barbera and Ruchè grapes, the perfect combination of the most precious and typical vines of the area. After a soft pressing, the grapes ferment in contact with the hard skins at a controlled temperature of 15-18 ° C for 18-20 days, with daily punching down. Subsequently the wine ages in barrique for 30 months and for further 6 months in bottle.

It is characterized by a ruby red color, with garnet hues. The nose opens with a delicate aromatic bouquet, with pleasant aromas of oriental spices of cumin, cardamom and pepper. On the palate it is pleasantly balanced, with a long aromatic persistence.

Perfect to accompany grilled red meats, roasts and game, it is ideal in combination with dry sweets and chocolate.
