Description

The Montagny 1er Cru Bonneveaux by Olivier Leflaive is a white wine made from Chardonnay grapes sourced from the Bonneveaux terroir in the commune of Buxy, characterized by sunny exposures and limestone-clay and marl soils that promote optimal ripening and aromatic concentration. Sustainable vineyard management and manual harvesting ensure quality and careful selection of the grapes.

Vinification involves gentle pressing with subsequent alcoholic and malolactic fermentation in oak barrels; aging takes place predominantly in wood with a portion in steel, allowing for complexity to develop without losing freshness.

The nose opens with elegance and a well-defined structure, while on the palate it reveals a harmonious balance between smoothness and acidity, with a refined and persistent texture.

It pairs perfectly with fish dishes, white meats, and creamy preparations.
