Description
Poggio dei Gelsi Falesco was born in the Montefiascone area, on the shores of Lake Bolsena.
It is produced with Malvasia, Trebbiano and Roscello grapes, harvested and selected by hand between the last week of September and the first half of October. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks, with indigenous yeasts, at a controlled temperature of 13-15 ° C. This treatment amplifies the fragrances and aromatic characteristics typical of the different vines.
Poggio dei Gelsi Falesco has a straw yellow color. The nose opens with notes of ripe peaches and plums, enriched with elegant floral scents. On the palate it gives a pleasant freshness and aroma thanks to the perfect balance between the components.
It goes well with fish and shellfish dishes.
