Description

Oltre il Rosso is the birthplace of the DOC Montello and Colli Asolani, more precisely from the Treviso municipalities of Montello and Nervesa della Battaglia.

Blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Merlot grapes, it is the result of aging in wood for at least 10 months in used barrels of various sizes and a further period of aging in bottle for 6 months.

Ruby red wine with elegant garnet nuances. It has a broad perfume that includes hints of sour cherry and black currant, medicinal herbs, coffee, vanilla and pink pepper. The entrance to the palate is fresh, it develops in elegance with round tannins and touches of flavor. It ends with a spicy finish starring the licorice.

It goes well with lamb chops and medium-aged cheeses.
