Description
Montepulciano d'Abruzzo Sipario was born on the hills of Mozzagrogna, in Abruzzo.
It is produced exclusively with Montepulciano grapes, macerated at controlled temperature for 15 days, under which terms the soft pressing takes place. After a brief natural settling, the wine remains in steel jars for 180 days before being bottled.
It is characterized by a bright red color with purple hues. The nose reveals hints of morello cherry and notes of ripe fruit. On the palate it maintains the freshness suggested by the perfume, enriching it with the fullness of the tannins, a typical characteristic of the grape.
Ideal to accompany with savory first courses and roasts of meat, this wine is suitable for combinations with cheeses and seasoned salami.
