Description

Saragio is one of the pride of Valdonica Winery. This wine is born in the vineyards of the company located in Roccastrada, in the wonderful natural stage of the Tuscan Maremma.

This wine is made entirely from Sangiovese grapes, harvested and harvested from the Valdonica and Sassofortino vineyards. After the winemaking processes, the product is left to rest for 18 months in medium toasted oak barriques and then subsequently to refinement in glass for another 18 months. This is to stabilize and balance the impressive organoleptic components of the wine.

The Saragio has a ruby red color. The nose offers notes of berries and cherry, with refined hints of black pepper and nutmeg, well accompanied in the background by vanilla sensations conferred by oak and black pepper. This wine is slightly sapid, with good acidity and full-bodied, with well-smoothed and very pleasant tannins.

Perfect in combination with spicy red meat dishes, it is special with slightly wild meats such as wild boar or deer. Excellent with bison meat.
