Description
What kind of wine it is
Moscato d’Asti Canti is a sweet and aromatic white wine made from Moscato grapes, presented in the Estate Line. It offers a fresh and immediate style, with balanced sweetness and a light vivacity that makes it suitable both as an aperitif and at the end of a meal, maintaining a convivial and elegant profile.
Where it comes from
It originates in Piedmont, in the Asti area, a region historically tied to the aromatic expression of Moscato in a sweet, low-alcohol version. Its Piedmontese origin is evident in the clarity of its aromas and its smooth sip, in keeping with the identity of Moscato d’Asti.
How it is produced
Vinification is carefully controlled to enhance the natural aromatic qualities of the grapes. The wine undergoes secondary fermentation in an autoclave following the Martinotti method, with careful temperature management. Fermentation is stopped at a low alcohol level to preserve residual sugars, varietal aromas, and the typical gentle effervescence. There is no wood aging for this label.
Tasting notes
In the glass it appears a golden yellow with greenish highlights, brilliant and clear. On the nose, it reveals intense floral aromas, recalling acacia and jasmine. The palate is sweet and aromatic, supported by pleasant freshness and a delicate fizz that accompanies the finish in a harmonious way.
Food pairings
It is ideal as an aperitif when a sweet and fragrant wine with easy drinkability is desired. At the table, it naturally pairs with fresh fruit and desserts, especially with lighter sweets, where the balanced sweetness and floral profile remain in harmony.
When to serve
Perfect for relaxed and pleasant social gatherings, from the beginning to the end of a meal with fruit and desserts, even on festive occasions. To highlight its fragrance and precise aromas, it is best enjoyed when the floral notes and freshness are most prominent.
