Passito di Pantelleria DOC Arbaria 2012 Vinisola

The Passito di Pantelleria Arbaria di Vinisola comes from vineyards located in the splendid stage of the island of Pantelleria.

It is produced exclusively with Zibibbo grapes, harvested by hand in the second decade of August and dried. Fermentation is accompanied by a long maceration, during which raisins are added several times. Subsequently the wine ages in steel for more than 13 months, before being placed on the market.

The Passito Arbaria of Vinisola is characterized by a golden yellow color with amber reflections. The nose opens with pleasant hints of dried grapes, ripe and candied fruit. On the palate it is velvety, sweet and aromatic, with an almondy aftertaste.

Perfect to accompany dry baked desserts, almond desserts, blue cheeses and chocolate. Also excellent as a meditation wine.
