Description

Verdicchio di Matelica Passito comes from the vineyards of the Bisci farm, in the municipality of Matelica.

Produced with 100% Verdicchio grapes, it is the result of a drying process of the grapes on racks. The fermentation of this passito takes place in small oak barrels of 50 and 100 liters, where it is also left in the ripening phase, lasting at least 3 years.

Characterized by an amber yellow color, it has hints of candied fruit and dried fruit, with notes reminiscent of orange and grapefruit. On the palate it is sweet but balanced, with good acidity and a soft and intense character.

Ideal to serve with aged cheeses, it is also excellent in combination with dry desserts and biscuits.
