Description
Amy is an organic red wine produced by Aubert et Mathieu, made from a blend of Grenache and Syrah cultivated on clay-limestone terroirs in the south of France.
The vinification process is traditional, with a three-week maceration followed by a six-month maturation in concrete tanks, without any aging in wood, to preserve the clarity and expressiveness of the fruit.
The wine presents an enchanting ruby appearance with velvety reflections and offers pleasant freshness and length. On the nose, playful aromas of cherry, strawberry, violet, and light spices can be perceived; on the palate, the structure is sunny, supported by crunchy, slightly peppery tannins, with a lovely dynamic and a fresh finish.
It pairs splendidly with barbecue ribs, sweet potato fries, or truffle pizza, enhancing them with elegance.
