Description
Piedmont Barbera di La Raia was born in vineyards located in the municipality of Novi Ligure, in the heart of Piedmont.
It is produced exclusively with Barbera grapes, harvested only by hand between the end of September and the beginning of October. After the destemming-crushing, the must begins to ferment, in the presence of the peel, with natural yeasts. Alcoholic fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 20 ° C for 15 days. Subsequently the wine is refined in the same containers, before being bottled.
This Barbera is characterized by a garnet ruby red color with violet reflections. The nose opens with an intense floral bouquet of rose, enriched with pleasant fruity notes. On the palate it is full, pleasantly warm and harmonious, with a pleasant and savory finish.
Perfect to accompany first courses based on meat sauce, it is ideal in combination with roasts and aged cheeses.
