Description
Ribolla Gialla di Pighin was born in the estate of the Friulian company in Spessa di Capriva, in the province of Gorizia, in the heart of the famous Collio area.
This wine is produced with 100% Ribolla Gialla grapes, selected and harvested only by hand. After a fermentation in steel at controlled temperatures, storage is carried out in the cellar, always in steel, and then goes through the conservative phase in cold rooms until bottling.
Ribolla Gialla di Pighin is characterized by a straw yellow color, with greenish reflections, and by fresh and intense aromas of green apple, peach and white flowers. On the palate, the acidic streak and the citrus sensations that accompany a finish of excellent persistence stands out.
Excellent with vegetable risotto and baked fish, it also goes well with white meats with sweet and sour sauces, smoked meats and fresh soft cheeses.
