Description
The Pinot Noir Brut Classic Method Pinot 64 of the Calatroni Winery is born in the renowned vineyards located in the municipality of Montecalvo Versiggia, in the province of Pavia.
It is produced entirely from Pinot Noir grapes, harvested and selected by hand in the last ten days of August, to maintain the acidity of the sparkling wine bases. Then the soft pressing takes place, to try to extract only the highest quality aromas. The wine ages in bottle at controlled temperature for about 36 months.
Pinot 64 is characterized by a straw yellow color with golden reflections, endowed with fine and persistent perlage. The nose opens with an intense and fragrant bouquet with hints of bread crust. On the palate it is fresh and pleasantly persistent.
It is excellent to combine with all fish dishes, especially dishes based on molluscs and crustaceans.
