Pommard AOC 2014 Philippe Pacalet
Description
Philippe Pacalet's Pommard was born in vineyards, organically run, located in the heart of the Pommard AOC.
It is produced exclusively with Pinot Noir grapes, harvested and selected only by hand. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled low temperature, for 3-5 weeks. Subsequently the wine ages on fine lees for 16 months in oak barrels.
Pacalet's Pommard has a bright red color. The nose opens with a large and intense bouquet of violet, cherries and raspberries. In the mouth it is mineral with elegance, well balanced between fruity and tannin.
Perfect to accompany meat and poultry dishes, it is ideal in combination with seasoned and smoked cheeses.
