Description
Pure expression of the generous land of Puglia, it is a label with a Mediterranean and sunny face, which expresses the character of Salento very well. The warm, windy climate and the red lands of sands and clays, which insist on deep limestone rocks, have been home to the old Primitivo trees for centuries.
The harvest takes place when the grapes are fully ripe, with the berries already slightly dehydrated by the heat of the sun and with a high sugar concentration. The classic vinification with maceration on the skins is followed by a maturation of the wine for about 12 months in French and American oak barriques.
Soft and persuasive, it is characterized by a dark and impenetrable red color, aromas of ripe red fruit, plum, hints of berry jam and spicy nuances. Dense and warm, it gives a soft, long and harmonious sip.
To be paired with grilled meat or mixed grills.
