Description

Ermita was the first Alvaro Palacios wine to obtain the prestigious Priorat Gran Viña Clasificada classification, the equivalent of the Grand Cru in Burgundy, and is undoubtedly the most complete expression of the intense panorama of the Priorat, where the mountain reaches the sea and the power of the wines blends with elegance.

Fermentation in wood with indigenous yeasts, and aging in barrels of different sizes for 16 months, indissolubly binds Cariñena and Garnacha, revealing the best of each of these Spanish grapes.

The result is an intense red, structured and of great aromatic complexity, with precise and elegant tannins, and with a long and persistent finish worthy of the greatest wines.

A colossus capable of withstanding the most demanding combinations, such as grilled rib of beef, Florentine steak and venison.
