Description

What kind of wine it is

Prosecco Extra Dry Brilla! is a sparkling wine made from Glera grapes. It has a fresh, exuberant character, with a harmonious taste that suits any occasion. Its delicate perlage and fruity profile make it a wine crafted for those seeking freshness and lightness.

Where it comes from

The grapes are grown in the Prosecco area, between Veneto and Friuli-Venezia Giulia. The climate is temperate, moderated by the sea and protected from cold northern winds by the Alps, with vineyards well exposed to the sun and breezes that keep the grapes healthy. The marked summer day–night temperature swings favor fruit development and the formation of interesting aromatic precursors.

How it is made

The grapes are gently pressed and the must is kept in steel tanks for static settling. Fermentation takes place with selected yeasts at a constant temperature for eight to ten days. The base wine then goes into an autoclave for the second fermentation using the Martinotti-Charmat method, which lasts on average 15–20 days. Once the desired pressure, alcohol and sugar levels are reached, the sparkling wine is bottled.

Tasting notes

The color is straw yellow with a delicate perlage. The bouquet is delicate yet complex, with fruit notes of peach and green apple and secondary nuances of acacia and lilac. On the palate it is fresh and light, with balanced acidity and body. The taste is harmonious, with a lingering finish.

Food pairings

Ideal as an aperitif, it pairs well with delicate appetizers and first courses. It also works nicely with sushi, fish and shellfish, where freshness and fruit support the most delicate flavors.

When to serve it

A bubbly for aperitifs, toasts and celebrations, when you want a light, lively wine. A tulip-shaped glass enhances its perlage and aromas. Best enjoyed young, at its freshest.
