Description
PTG by Yann Durieux is a red wine born in the heart of Hautes-Côtes de Nuits, in Messanges in Burgundy, the result of the winemaker Yann Durieux’s radical and passionate vision. The cuvée is classified as Vin de France and best expresses the identity of a single plot cultivated biodynamically with minimal intervention, following a philosophy devoted to the purity of the terroir.
The Pinot Noir grapes are hand-harvested and subjected to a semi-carbonic maceration, without the addition of sulfites or filtration. The artisanal winemaking is completed by aging in used barriques, which allows the wine to develop complexity while preserving the freshness of the fruit and the integrity of the raw material.
It presents itself with a bright ruby color; the nose is intense and complex, with hints of crushed raspberry, violet, and white pepper, on a mineral background. On the palate, it is light and precise, with silky tannins, lively acidity, and a finish that recalls small red fruits and wet earth.
Perfect with a veal chop or a dish of herb lentils.
