Description

Il Priamo is a wine from Cantine Due Palme, located in the Cellino San Marco area, in the province of Brindisi. The company, founded in 1989, produces wines from typical Salento grapes, such as Negroamaro, Malvasia Nera, Primitivo and Susumaniello. The vines are cultivated with Alberello Pugliese, the method of cultivation of the plant typical of this region.

Priamo is made from 100% Nero di Troia grapes which, once harvested, are macerated in thermoregulated horizontal rotary fermenters for 14 days, to then be vinified at 20 °C. Ageing takes place in barriques for 6 months.

In the glass, the wine appears deep garnet red. The nose opens on aromas of ripe red fruit, cherries also in jam. The taste is warm and full-bodied, well balanced.

Ideal in combination with baked pasta, roasted and grilled meats.
