Description
Joseph Colin's Puligny Montrachet Le Trézin is a French white wine from the Burgundy region. Made from Chardonnay grapes grown using sustainable practices, it comes from a vineyard located at an altitude of 500 meters, the highest in the denomination, characterized by a cold and windy climate and soils of white clay and limestone, with vines over 60 years old.
Vinification involves the use of indigenous yeasts, with fermentation and aging in used oak barrels, two-thirds of 500 liters and one-third of 228 liters. This approach aims to preserve the expressive purity of the terroir, without invasive interventions.
The nose perceives notes of pear, fresh pastry, and orange oil. On the palate, the wine is medium-bodied, with a silky texture and lively acidity, leading to a mineral and persistent finish.
It pairs perfectly with fish, shellfish, or white meat dishes.
