Reggiano Lambrusco Spumante Rosso Extra Brut DOP Quaranta Venturini Baldini
Description
Venturini Baldini's Reggiano Lambrusco Spumante Quaranta comes to light from organically grown vineyards located in Roncolo di Quattro Castella, in the province of Reggio Emilia.
It is obtained from the clones of Lambrusco Montericco, Maestri, Marani, with additions of Malbo Gentile, an ancient Emilian grape variety, harvested at the end of September. Once the fermentation in red at controlled temperature is finished, the wine is transferred to steel autoclaves to start the sparkling process, with a 6 month stay on its lees.
Venturini Baldini's Quaranta is covered in an intense ruby red color. The nose exhibits hints of berries, morello cherry and ripe plum. Full-bodied in the mouth, it is characterized by an excellent flavor and a long taste-olfactory persistence.
Ideal to serve with braised and boiled, it enchants the palate in the company of game and aged cheeses.
