Description
Le Leirana "M. Luisa Lazaro" is a white wine produced by Forjas del Salnés in Rías Baixas from Albarino grapes grown in a vineyard of exceptional historical value, with 80% of the vines being over 180 years old. These vines, cultivated on granitic soils at about 60 meters altitude, give life to an authentic and profound expression of the Galician territory.
The harvest is manual and the winemaking occurs naturally: spontaneous fermentation in French oak barrels without temperature control, followed by aging for 12 months in the same barrels, with significant contact with the lees between the fifth and seventh month. Malolactic fermentation is not carried out, preserving the varietal freshness intact.
The wine presents elegant and layered aromas of white flowers, ripe citrus fruits, aromatic herbs, and flint. On the palate, it is intense and refined, with a creamy texture and a pronounced minerality that develops into a persistent, saline, and vertical finish.
Perfect with dishes based on noble fish, steamed shellfish, or seafood risotto.
