Description

Canta la Perdiz takes its name from the single vineyard from which the grapes come. The wine is produced by the Dominio del Águila winery, in the Ribera del Duero. The main grapes are Tempranillo, Blanca del País, Bobal, Garnacha, Albillo and Tempranillo Gris, grown using organic and biodynamic methods. These vineyards, many of which are over 100 years old, benefit from a continental climate that gives character and complexity to the wine.

The winemaking process follows a careful process that enhances the unique characteristics of the terroir. After fermentation in wooden containers, the wine is aged for a period of 30 months in French oak barrels.

On the nose it offers a complex bouquet with notes of ripe red and black fruits, sweet spices and an elegant floral nuance. On the palate it reveals a well-balanced structure with silky tannins, lively acidity and a long and mineral finish. Its velvety texture and depth of flavor enhance its persistence and overall elegance.

Canta la Perdiz pairs perfectly with grilled red meats, roasts or mature cheeses.
