Description

La Fleur by VivaltuS is a Spanish red wine from the Ribera del Duero region, made from Tempranillo (Tinta Fina) grapes with a small addition of Merlot. The plots from which it is sourced are located in areas such as Fuentenebro, La Aguilera, Anguix, Curiel de Duero, Gumiel de Izán, and Moradillo de Roa, at altitudes ranging from 850 to 1000 meters. The vineyards, of considerable age, are sustainably cultivated on soils that range from red clays to calcareous sands, giving the grapes freshness, structure, and elegance.

The winemaking process follows meticulous methods, with a triple selection of grapes: in the vineyard, on the sorting table, and through optical berry-by-berry selection. Fermentations occur with native yeasts and without invasive interventions, utilizing gravity to preserve the fruit's integrity. The aging process involves a significant component in terracotta amphorae, with the remaining volume in French oak barrels of second passage and partly new, for a total duration of ten months.

The wine presents a refined and fresh profile, dominated by fine, silky tannins, balanced structure, and a long finish. On the nose, it opens with fruity and floral notes, while on the palate, it stands out for its finesse and clear territorial identity that combines the character of the Ribera del Duero with suggestions of elegance typical of Saint Emilion.

It pairs perfectly with grilled or stewed meat dishes of Mediterranean tradition.
