Description

Malleolus de Sanchomartín is a red wine produced in Ribera del Duero, Spain, by Bodegas Emilio Moro. Made from Tempranillo grapes from the Pago de Sanchomartín vineyard, planted in 1944 on limestone soils, this wine expresses the powerful, elegant, and persistent character of the region.

The alcoholic fermentation and maceration last for 28 days in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures, followed by malolactic fermentation and aging in French oak barrels.

The wine presents an intense cherry red color, with aromas of ripe dark and red fruits, complex tertiary notes, and a pleasant acidity. On the palate, it is balanced, long, and very pleasant.

This red wine pairs perfectly with red meats, game dishes, and aged cheeses.
