Description
The Tinto Tempranillo is a young red wine produced by Bodegas Covila in the Rioja Alavesa region. Made from Tempranillo grapes grown in bush vines and spur cordon vineyards, located at various altitudes and on varied soils, it reflects the typical characteristics of the territory in the towns of Lapuebla de Labarca, Elciego, Fuenmayor, Samaniego, Elvillar, and Laguardia.
Vinification takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures, using destemmed grapes with the addition of a small percentage of whole clusters according to traditional carbonic maceration. This method allows obtaining a young wine with a fresh and aromatic profile, maintaining the varietal liveliness intact.
It presents a cherry red color with violet reflections typical of young wines. On the nose, it offers intense aromas of red fruits, creamy caramel, and strawberry. On the palate, it is fresh and easy to drink, with a fruity balsamic finish that recalls the olfactory sensations.
Ideal for pairing with salads, rice dishes, legumes, cold cuts, fish, and cheeses.
